Cantaloupe Restaurant and Bar
closed

A Shoreditch stalwart and founding cornerstone, Cantaloupe kick started the Hoxton scene over a decade ago, and remains a firm favourite amongst office workers, local residents and the numerous visitors to one of London’s most diverse and exciting scenes. The first bar in the area, Cantaloupe has always been as essential to Shoreditch as misunderstood haircuts, bubbling new musical hybrids and devil may care debauchery.

15 years on and Cantaloupe is back - with a new haircut and shiny pair of shoes.

Easy, familiar NY warehouse simplicity where you can lose yourself in our comfortably battered sofas, or dance on long bench tables with friends – your call, we’re happy either way. A fresh seasonal restaurant menu that changes monthly, plus a lunch time menu that changes daily. We still offer our famous tapas although much improved and continually evolving. All this produced under the watchful eye of Simone Scola, formally head chef of the Lansdowne, training at Zafferano (1 michelin star) and Orrey.

All our food is fresh, seasonal and from ethical, sustainable sources.

Relaxed and chilled though the day, we let our hair down and put on our dancing pants at the weekend – and then wind down and recover all through Sunday with all the papers, giant mugs of coffee (or a Bloody Mary if you need one!) and Hoxton’s best Sunday roast to round off the week.
